The core motivation behind “being CG” is that there are more ideas/projects I wish would be tried, pursued seriously, than I personally have time for. So I am trying to be more productive.

I think that working as a CG is a dream job so I am trying to get a job there / learn to be an exceptional grantmaker / strategy unit or start another CG. Working as a full-time researcher might be a dream job as well, but I am betting the field currently needs CG work more. Doing CG’s work alone is tough, might we friend? 😃

What our team could do:

1. Define a problem statement, generate solutions ideas in partnership with area experts, prioritize.
2. Headhunt a strong founder for a new project that would address the gap, and helping them spin up the new project quickly and ambitiously.
3. Partner with other grantmakers or funders.
4. Design effective ways to keep imrpoving our methods and scale.
